Position Overview :We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Backend Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team. As a Node.js Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications that power our web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet our users' needs. Your expertise in building efficient and secure backend systems will play a crucial role in shaping our technology landscape.Key Responsibilities :- Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to create seamless user experiences.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.- Implement APIs and integrate with third-party services, databases, and external data sources.- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining system reliability.- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development.- Propose and implement improvements to existing features and architecture.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration processes.- Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and system architecture.- Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and promoting skill development within the team.Key Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).- 2+ years of experience as a Node.js Backend Developer or similar role.- Strong proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript programming.- Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js or similar.- Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and proficiency in writing efficient queries.- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and writing unit and integration tests.- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.- Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure) is a plus.- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.- Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset.
