Role Identifier Job Title Chief Business Development Executive –Tiles Department Strategy& New Businesses Reporting to Assistant Manager – Strategy & New Businesses Location / Unit Kolkata/Patna Role Description Job Purpose The position is that of a frontline salesexecutive who would primarily be responsible for driving business of Asian Paints Tiles category in a defined geography, through demand generation, identifying, mapping, and converting potential business opportunities via Asian Paints channel partners and B2B segments by working closely with all key stakeholders thereby, achieving overall business objectives. Primary Responsibilities Business Responsibility Areas Business objectives Drive overall sales and growth at geography level for tiles category by meticulous planning, indexing, and driving conversions with the help of key stakeholders Opening of new channel partners in tiles category to create product champions in assigned geographies Managing the network of channel partners and servicing their requirements in the tiles category Drive secondary liquidation for assigned channel partners with the help of DSRs Working and collaborating with other teams to drive the product level agenda and enhance retail and project conversions Drive timely collection of payments from the assigned channel partners Market Development Identify opportunities across various business segments through competition analysis, regular market visits and giving feedback to brand team for new product development Customer centricity Enhance consumer experience by ensuring resolution of complaints within the defined timelines Integration Integrate with other verticals like Retail Sales, Bath team, Services, Commercial and Marketing function to promote sales and service to customers Key Performance Indicators Value and volume targets for the geography Value targets for B2B category Percentage gain in market share Value targets at product level Closure of customer complaints within timelines Working in close collaboration with other allied business teams to drive business in the category Scope of Work a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): As per budget b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): Will be handling a team of DSRs c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) UP East-Bihar-Jharkhand-Odisha-North East d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): Strategy & New Businesses e) Languages known Hindi, English, any relevant regional language Key Interactions Internal Tiles Team, Bath Team, Services team, Commercial team, Marketing and HR External Dealers& B2B clients Qualifications Education Graduation+ MBA Experience 2-4 years of sales experience in Tiles industry Skills Good Interpersonal and communication skill, sales, good decision-making skill, MS Office Age Upper Limit 29 years
