Team Lead - Java (5-8 yrs) Bangalore (Backend Developer)

Description:
You will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, while also being a key contributor to the design, development, and delivery of features in our distributed backend systems.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement well-defined features for our backend systems, taking ownership from conception to completion.- Craft and execute unit tests using relevant testing frameworks to ensure code quality.- Collaborate with the Test Engineering team to define and develop integration tests.- Actively troubleshoot and fix reported bugs within the system.- Communicate effectively with the technical or project lead regarding estimates, schedules, potential issues, and dependencies.- Continuously share your knowledge and insights about new technologies with the team, fostering a collaborative learning environment.- Champion open-source contribution by encouraging others and potentially contributing through code, blogs, or other means.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.- 5-10 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing features in distributed backend systems.- A keen understanding of multi-threading concepts in Java.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e. g. Scrum, Kanban).- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.- A passion for documentation and the ability to create clear and concise technical documents.- A strong sense of accountability, ownership, and motivation.Bonus Points :Skill Set : - Java, Multi-Threading , Kafka, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes.- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Prior experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Contribution to open-source projects.
