Description:
Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and applications with a focus on observability and telemetry.- Implement best practices for instrumenting applications to collect metrics, logs, and traces (including distributed tracing).- Develop and maintain robust pipelines for collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and visualizing telemetry data.- Leverage observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK Stack) to monitor system behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate observability practices into CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.- Champion continuous improvement by utilizing data-driven insights to drive enhancements in system reliability, scalability, and performance.- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in observability, telemetry, and distributed systems, ensuring our solutions remain innovative and cutting-edge.- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and expertise in observability and telemetry practices.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 6+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java programming.- In-depth expertise in observability and telemetry tools and practices, including Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and distributed tracing.- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant systems.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for troubleshooting complex system issues.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
