Position : Peoplesoft HR ConsultantLocation : Hyderabad, INDIA (REMOTE)Experience : 3- 5 YearsA PeopleSoft HR consultant is a professional who specializes in implementing, customizing, and maintaining PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS) solutions for organizations. Their roles and responsibilities can vary depending on the specific needs of the client or employer, but generally include the following:Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with clients to understand their HR processes, business requirements, and objectives. Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis to gather detailed requirements for system implementation or enhancements.System Implementation : Lead or support the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS modules such as Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time and Labor, Recruitment, and Talent Management. Configure the system according to client requirements, including setting up organizational structures, business rules, workflows, and security roles.Customization and Development : Customize PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools such as Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Interface, and Application Engine to meet unique business needs that cannot be addressed through standard configuration.Integration : Design and implement interfaces between PeopleSoft HRMS and other systems such as payroll systems, timekeeping systems, or third-party applications. Utilize tools like Integration Broker or File Layouts to facilitate data exchange.Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts to validate system functionality, configurations, and customizations. Perform unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets client requirements and is free from defects.Training and User Support : Conduct end-user training sessions to educate HR staff and system users on how to effectively use PeopleSoft HRMS. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues reported by users post-implementation.Documentation : Create and maintain documentation including functional specifications, technical designs, configuration guides, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer and enable future system maintenance.Project Management : Manage project tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of PeopleSoft HRMS implementations or enhancements. Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and deliverables.Stay Updated : Keep abreast of new features, enhancements, and best practices related to PeopleSoft HRMS.
