Senior .Net Developer - C#/Microservices Architecture (4-8 yrs)

Description:
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain custom software using best coding practices and modern techniques (e.g., SOLID principles, design patterns).- Break down user stories into tasks and set expectations for team members using Agile Scrum methodology.- Code, test, and troubleshoot high-availability, high-load software utilizing the appropriate hardware, databases, and programming technologies (C#, .NET Core, Microservices).- Review code written by others and provide recommendations for improvement and efficiency.- Collaborate with business subject matter experts to understand requirements and design high-performance solutions to complex problems.- Utilize development tools like Visual Studio Profiler to optimize code and prepare for deployment in high-scale environments (AWS).- Assist the team in understanding and utilizing the AWS Serverless landscape to build and deploy code.- Foster a collaborative and problem-solving environment based on strong communication and the Zapcom Code of Values.- Research and recommend solutions to meet business requirements.- Communicate effectively (verbally and written) with business and IT stakeholders, including senior leadership.Technical Skills:- Proven experience in application development using .NET with C# and NuGet packages.- Strong understanding of Agile Scaled frameworks and the ability to break down user stories into actionable tasks.- Expertise in SOLID Design principles and at least 2 years of experience implementing core design patterns using .NET Core and Microservices.- Prior experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.- Experience building applications using CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development (TDD) practices.- Familiarity with deployment strategies, API versioning, and feature toggling.- Experience building Microservices using common API technologies like REST.- Ability to understand and utilize JSON and XML data formats.- Knowledge of the Microsoft operating system and tools (Microsoft Visual Studio).- Experience with AWS core components like API Gateway, AppSync, CloudWatch, AWS Key Management Service, and AWS Lambda.- Ability to use SAM templates for local development and testing of AWS Lambda functions.- Understanding of microservices deployment in a Kubernetes environment (a plus).Bonus Points:- Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.- Experience building and maintaining cloud-native applications.- Active participation in open-source projects.Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with at least 1 years in a senior developer role.
