Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA 2020 and proven expertise in implementing and supporting all aspects of the CO module.Responsibilities :- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of SAP CO for at least two complete cycles.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional configurations within the CO module.- Configure and maintain core CO functionalities, including:- Cost Center Accounting- Profit Center Accounting- Internal Orders- Product Costing (Process Costing)- Material Ledger- Account Based COPA- Reconcile and resolve accounting mismatches between FI and CO at all levels, including drilldown reporting in COPA.- Manage variance analysis and settlement processes.- Possess in-depth knowledge of COPA setup, configuration, and corrections.- Develop and implement COPA planning and cost center planning for profitability planning and budgeting.- Integrate the CO module with the General Ledger, ensuring a direct link for financial accounting and profitability analysis.- Define assessment rules and configure cost and revenue allocations for accurate distribution to profit centers.- Utilize COPA Report Painter (Generator) to create customized reports.- Perform multi-dimensional profitability analysis using various dimensions (customer, product, region, sales organization).- Manage cost-of-sales (COGS) accounting based on the material ledger cost component split.- Develop flexible reporting capabilities through customized reports (potentially collaborating with the technical team).- Conduct ad-hoc analyses based on user-specific requirements.- Work effectively within the SAP landscape, adhering to PMO practices and SDLC methodologies.- Integrate seamlessly with FI, MM, SD, and other relevant modules.- Participate in month-end closing activities.- Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay current with the latest SAP CO updates and best practices.Qualifications :- Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP CO Consultant with a focus on S/4HANA 2020.- Proven experience in leading and managing complete CO implementation cycles.- In-depth understanding of SAP CO functionalities, including cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, product costing, material ledger, COPA, and variance analysis.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Experience integrating CO with other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD).- Experience with month-end closing processes in SAP.
