Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our growing team.- You will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and performance.Primary Skills (Must-Have):- 3+ years of experience in network administration.- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including:1. Cisco Routing and Switching technologies2. Routing protocols (e. g. , BGP, OSPF)3. VLAN management4. Subnetting5. STP (Spanning Tree Protocol)6. FHRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol)7. Multicast- Experience with firewall administration and configuration.- Proficiency in network cable management and troubleshooting.- Knowledge of VPN and remote access technologies.- Familiarity with authentication protocols (e. g. , RADIUS, TACACS+).- Experience with network monitoring tools and methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bonus Points:- Experience with network automation tools (e. g. , Python scripting, Ansible).- Experience with cloud-based network management solutions (e. g. , AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks).- Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance requirements.- Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent.Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).- Implement and manage VLANs for network segmentation.- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols to ensure network connectivity.- Manage network security by configuring and monitoring firewalls.- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.- Perform routine network maintenance tasks (e. g. , firmware updates, backups).- Document network configurations and procedures.- Monitor network performance and identify potential problems.- Assist with network capacity planning and upgrades.- Support end-users with network-related issues.- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
