Description:
About the Role :- We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Test Engineer to join our growing QA team.- With over 14 years of experience, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of our software products throughout the entire development lifecycle (SDLC).- You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other testers to design, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans that identify and mitigate potential risks.Responsibilities :- Lead and participate in all phases of software testing, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with product requirements and user stories.- Conduct various testing methodologies, including functional testing, non-functional testing (performance, usability, security), and exploratory testing.- Utilize automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, API testing tools) to automate repetitive test cases and improve test coverage.- Analyze test results, identify software defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in software testing methodologies and automation.- Mentor and guide junior test engineers.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and best practices.- Work within a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline (if applicable).Qualifications :- 14+ years of experience in software testing with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality software.- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).- Expertise in manual and automated testing techniques.- Strong understanding of software defects and defect lifecycle management.- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation is a plus.- Experience with API testing tools and techniques is a plus.- Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.- A passion for quality and a strong commitment to delivering bug-free software.
