Description:
Job Description:- We are looking for a skilled Guidewire Policy Center Developer with a strong background in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration or Integration.- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Java EE.Key Responsibilities:- Configure and customize Guidewire Policy Center based on business requirements.- Develop and implement integration solutions using Guidewire Policy Center.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement solutions.- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.- Adhere to best practices and standards for Guidewire Policy Center development.- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of Guidewire Policy Center configurations and integrations.- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center Configuration or Integration.- Strong understanding of Java EE and object-oriented programming concepts.- Experience with full SDLC and appreciation for iterative (Agile) development lifecycle.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills:- Guidewire Policy Center certification is a plus.- Experience with other Guidewire products such as Claim Center or Billing Center.- Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
