About the Role :We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Automation Test Analyst to join our growing QA team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using UFT/Micro Focus Silk to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.Responsibilities :UFT/Micro Focus Silk Expertise :- Possess 5+ years of experience in automating software testing with UFT/Micro Focus Silk.- In-depth knowledge of UFT/Silk functionalities, including keyword-driven testing, object identification, data-driven testing, and error handling.- Experience in creating reusable and maintainable test scripts for various testing scenarios.- Ability to troubleshoot and debug automation scripts effectively.Software Testing Expertise :- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and testing principles.- Experience in designing and executing various test cases, including functional, regression, and integration testing.- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and report them effectively.Additional Skills :- Experience with API testing using UFT/Silk is a plus.- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is a plus.- Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, testers, and other stakeholders.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.- Proven experience with UFT/Micro Focus Silk is essential.
