About the Role :We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Senior Test Lead to join our growing QA team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in leading and managing all aspects of the testing process for our software projects. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and Agile practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications on time and within budget.Responsibilities :Test Strategy & Planning :- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements and Agile methodologies.- Identify and prioritize test cases for all phases of testing, including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).- Lead the identification and selection of appropriate testing tools for various testing needs.Test Execution & Management :- Oversee the execution of test plans by coordinating with internal and external testing teams.- Monitor test progress, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.- Analyze test results and provide insights to stakeholders to improve software quality.Team Leadership & Collaboration :- Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring to test team members.- Foster a collaborative testing environment and promote effective communication across teams (development, product, etc.).- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure testing aligns with project goals.Technical Expertise :- Possess strong expertise in testing web services and applications.- Experience working with upstream and downstream application teams for large programs.- Working knowledge of various testing tools, including XRAY, Postman, Serenity BDD (Cucumber), REST Assured, and Appium.Agile & Automation :- Proven experience working with Agile methodologies (minimum 5 years).- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins).- Affinity with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and SNOW.Communication & Reporting :- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.- Ability to create clear and concise test reports and documentation.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (experience and certification can substitute).- Minimum of 9 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a lead role.- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality software projects using Agile methodologies.- Effective communication skills in English.
