About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our growing QA team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure our applications meet performance benchmarks and deliver a seamless user experience under load. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of JMeter/BlazeMeter and performance testing principles to identify and address potential performance bottlenecks.Responsibilities :Performance Testing Expertise :- Possess 7-12 years of experience in performance testing methodologies and tools.- In-depth knowledge of JMeter and/or BlazeMeter for performance test script development, execution, and analysis.- Experience in designing and conducting various types of performance tests (load, stress, scalability).- Ability to analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.Non-Functional Testing :- Strong understanding of non-functional testing principles, including performance, usability, and security.- Experience in designing and executing various non-functional tests beyond performance.Performance Engineering :- Experience in working with performance engineering tools and techniques to optimize application performance.- Understanding of load balancing, web server configuration, and performance optimization strategies.Additional Skills :- Experience with cloud-based performance testing tools and platforms is a plus.- Familiarity with performance testing frameworks like Gatling or Locust is a plus.- Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace) is a plus.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development, product, and operations teams.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- 7-12 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing.- Proven experience with JMeter and/or BlazeMeter is essential.
