Position Overview :As a Senior Consultant in System Management, you will play a pivotal role in providing application support and maintenance services, particularly focusing on .Net (Microsoft Tech stack) and Wealth COTS products. You will leverage your expertise in production support, incident management, and Microsoft technologies to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' systems. Additionally, you will apply your domain knowledge in wealth and banking to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' needs.Key Responsibilities :- Provide application support for systems built on the .Net (Microsoft Tech stack) platform, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance optimization.- Utilize your experience in Wealth COTS products such as Thomson One, SEI INVESTMENTS, NetX 360, Orion, NATIONAL FINANCIAL SERVICES, LLC (NFS), and MARKETAXESS to support and maintain wealth management systems.- Collaborate with application support engineers and development teams to address incidents, problems, and changes in a timely manner, adhering to ITIL best practices and utilizing tools such as ServiceNow.- Demonstrate a strong understanding of major incident processes, with the ability to triage and resolve critical issues quickly and efficiently.- Leverage your expertise in the Microsoft Tech stack, including .Net, IIS, SSIS, SSRS, VB, Azure, and SQL Server, to ensure the reliability and performance of systems.- Implement application monitoring and log analytics solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs and SLOs.- Apply your domain knowledge of wealth and banking to provide insights and recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.- Utilize source code management tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket, as well as continuous integration tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins, to manage code repositories and automate deployment processes.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 6-10 years of experience in system management, with a focus on application support and maintenance.- Experience with .Net (Microsoft Tech stack) technologies, including .Net, IIS, SSIS, SSRS, VB, Azure, and SQL Server.- Strong understanding of Wealth COTS products and domain knowledge in wealth and banking.- Proficiency in incident, problem, and change management processes, with experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Experience with application monitoring, log analytics, and disaster recovery practices.- Familiarity with source code management tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, and continuous integration tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
