About the Role :We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Technical Director to join our leadership team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the technical direction of our organization. You will leverage your extensive experience in software development, technology strategy, and team leadership to drive innovation, ensure technical excellence, and propel us towards achieving our business goals.Responsibilities :Technical Leadership :- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the entire technical organization, including software development, infrastructure, and operations.- Establish and maintain a strong technical culture focused on innovation, continuous learning, and best practices.- Attract, develop, and retain top technical talent.Technology Strategy :- Develop and articulate a comprehensive long-term technology roadmap aligned with the overall business strategy.- Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends.Project Management :- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects.- Manage project budgets and ensure timely completion within established timelines.- Mitigate project risks and identify opportunities for improvement.Technical Excellence :- Define and enforce high coding standards and development practices.- Champion the adoption of DevOps methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Ensure the integrity, security, and scalability of the technical infrastructure.Communication and Collaboration :- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical initiatives and business objectives.- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.Qualifications :- 15-20 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with a proven track record of success in leading and growing technical teams.- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing technology strategies.- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps principles.- Strong understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems, and security best practices.- Experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies (specific requirements may vary depending on the company).- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.- A passion for technology and a commitment to innovation.
