We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Active Directory and Office 365 Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of our on-premises Active Directory environment and our cloud-based Office 365 tenant. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our messaging and collaboration infrastructure, while upholding the highest security standards.Responsibilities:Active Directory:- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory.- Maintain Active Directory health and performance through regular monitoring and optimization.- Implement and enforce Active Directory security best practices, including group policy management and user account controls.- Troubleshoot Active Directory related issues and escalate complex problems as needed.Exchange Server (Optional):- Manage Exchange server configuration, if applicable.- Ensure smooth operation of email flow and troubleshoot email-related issues.- Maintain email security through spam filtering and malware protection.Office 365:- Manage Office 365 tenant settings and user accounts.- Administer and support Office 365 collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.- Implement and enforce Office 365 security best practices, including data loss prevention and access controls.- Monitor Office 365 service health and troubleshoot any arising issues.- Stay updated on the latest Office 365 features and updates to optimize our utilization.General:- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration between Active Directory and Office 365.- Document procedures and processes for Active Directory and Office 365 administration.- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support outside of regular business hours. (24/7 schedule)- Maintain a strong understanding of cloud security and compliance regulations.- Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest technologies related to Active Directory and Office 365.Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience in Active Directory administration.- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture and services such as Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), Group Policy, and Domain Name System (DNS).- Strong understanding of security best practices in Active Directory environments.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- (Optional) Previous experience with Exchange Server installation, configuration, and management.- Proven experience with Office 365 administration and a strong understanding of its features and functionalities.- Familiarity with various collaboration tools within Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).- Understanding of cloud security and compliance regulations.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- A self-motivated learner with a strong desire to stay updated with the latest technologies.
