Job Description :As a Data Science Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our data science team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies, creating predictive models, and contributing to the overall success of our data science initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data science, leadership skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making in the education sector.Responsibilities :Team Leadership :- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support for their professional development.- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Project Management :- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data science projects to meet organizational goals and objectives.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data science initiatives.Data Analysis and Modeling :- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and other relevant applications, ensuring they align with and contribute to the achievement of business targets.- Conduct in-depth analyses of user patterns and behaviors to derive actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making for marketing and retention strategies.- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven strategies to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.Strategic Planning and Execution :- Develop and execute a comprehensive data roadmap that supports the organization's short-term and long-term business targets.- Prioritize and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that the data team's tasks and projects are closely aligned with business priorities and contribute to the platform's continuous improvement.- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data in marketing campaigns, user experience enhancements, and overall business strategy.Collaboration :- Work closely with other departments, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to integrate data science solutions into various aspects of our products and services.Quality Assurance :- Implement best practices for data quality assurance and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of models and analyses.Qualifications :- Proven experience (6+) in data science, with a focus on machine learning, predictive modelling, and data analysis, demonstrating a track record of achieving business objectives.- Strong business mindset with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies for marketing, user retention, and overall business success.- Previous leadership or management experience leading a team of data scientists, emphasizing a results-oriented and business-driven approach.
