Learn more at https://avasant.com/ Role Overview - As the Senior Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing support of our cloud services. You will provide technical expertise in resolving service delivery issues, manage vendor relationships, and continuously improve standards and procedures to drive high-quality IT service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server technologies, networking, and infrastructure operations and excellent communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities - Provide technical expertise in the resolution of any service delivery issues or incidents related to cloud services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper hand-off of activities and support overlap with EST timings. Able to analyze support ticket data to identify trends and areas for improvement Manage ticket queues, assignments and escalation to ensure that tickets are handled in a timely manner Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Continuously improve standards and procedures by anticipating issues and implementing best practices. Bring a focus and experience around automation and user self-service to optimize staff resources while scaling support operations Drive the adoption of PMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma best practices within the team Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 5-10 years of experience in cloud services delivery or related field. Good understanding of server technologies (Unix), networking (Firewalls), and infrastructure operations. Ability to provide technical expertise in the resolution of service delivery issues or incidents. Experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Strong leadership and communication skills. PMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
