Description:
About the Role :- We are seeking a highly experienced Big Data Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of our big data solutions.- This role is ideal for a candidate with a deep understanding of big data technologies and a proven track record of delivering scalable and robust big data architectures.Responsibilities :- Lead the design and development of big data architectures that meet the evolving needs of the business.- Select and implement big data technologies, including but not limited to :1. Cloudera2. Apache Spark3. Open-source big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka, HDFS)4. Data warehousing solutions (e.g., Hive, Redshift)5. NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Develop and maintain big data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of big data platforms.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the big data landscape.- Mentor and guide junior team members on big data concepts and best practices.- Document architectural decisions and designs for future reference.- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications :- 12-16 years of experience in big data architecture and design.- Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying big data solutions on-premises or in the cloud.- In-depth knowledge of distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark.- Strong understanding of open-source big data technologies, including Hadoop ecosystem tools.- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions (e.g., Hive, Redshift).- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
