About the Role :- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Linux Administration Lead to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Linux infrastructure.- This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong understanding of Linux administration, automation tools, and virtualization technologies.- The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Linux administrators, overseeing the build and deployment of Linux environments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our critical systems.Responsibilities :- Lead a team of Linux administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.- Oversee the build and deployment of Linux operating systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.- Design and implement automated solutions for Linux administration tasks using Ansible.- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.- Possess in-depth knowledge of Linux architecture, including kernel configuration and optimization.- Manage storage resources effectively, including SAN migration and LVM configuration.- Implement and maintain KVM hypervisor for virtual machine creation and management.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Linux administration space.- Document procedures and best practices for efficient knowledge transfer.- Collaborate effectively with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.Qualifications :- 5-8 years of experience in Linux administration with a proven track record of success.- Strong understanding of Linux architecture, kernel configuration, and optimization.- In-depth knowledge of Ansible for automating Linux administration tasks.- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.- Proven ability to design and implement robust and scalable Linux environments.- Experience with SAN migration and LVM configuration.- Strong understanding of KVM hypervisor and its functionalities.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
