About the job :Mode of Work : HybridMode of Hire : FTEAvailability : Immediate joiner or serving maximum of 30 days notice periodJob Description :Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and web services using a chosen programming language (Java, Scala, Golang preferred).- Utilize unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, ReadyAPI) to create comprehensive unit tests for code quality and functionality.- Implement load testing strategies using testing frameworks to analyze system performance under stress.- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality between APIs and the user interface.- Leverage Charles Proxy or similar tools to analyze and manipulate network traffic for testing purposes.- Test and validate functionalities of RESTful APIs using various methodologies (positive, negative, boundary value testing).- Parse and manipulate JSON data structures within automated test scripts.- Document test cases and scripts clearly and concisely for future reference.- Stay up-to-date on the latest automation testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall testing process.- 3+ years of experience in an automation (or development) role- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language; Java/Scala/Golang Preferred.- Experience of writing unit testing code in various unit testing frameworks like ReadyAPI, or JUnit- Experience with load testing frameworks.- Experience with front-end coordination- Experience with CharlesProxy- Strong knowledge and hands on test experience of RESTful API's- Experience working with JSON structures (ref:hirist.tech)
