Description:

Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.- Develop database schemas, indexes, and query optimizations to support application requirements and performance goals.- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance and improve efficiency.- Configure and manage MongoDB replica sets and sharding for high availability and scalability.- Implement and maintain data security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide database design recommendations and solutions.- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including data corruption, performance degradation, and scalability challenges.- Stay updated on MongoDB best practices, features, and updates, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.- Provide technical guidance and support to junior database administrators and development teams as needed.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 5-8 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on MongoDB.- Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture, features, and functionality.- Proficiency in designing and implementing MongoDB databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.- Experience with MongoDB replica sets and sharding for high availability and scalability.- Knowledge of data security concepts and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.- Experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies for MongoDB databases.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex database issues and implement effective solutions.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- MongoDB certifications (e.g., MongoDB Certified DBA) are a plus.
