Role Description :This is a remote contract role for an AS400 Solution Architect. The Solution Architect will be responsible for providing consulting, software development, integration, and business process solutions. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to solution architecture and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Qualifications :- Solution Architecture and Consulting skills.- Software Development and Integration experience.- Understanding of business processes.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work remotely and independently.- Experience in the IT industry is a plus.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain applications using RPG, CL, CLLE, ISeries, Synon, Cobol, SQL, and RPGLE on the AS400 platform.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices for development.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, data integrity, and system stability.- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of new systems and enhancements.
