Job Description:We are seeking an experienced ADC (Advanced Data Computing) Data Engineering Lead with 10-13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big Data engineering, with expertise in tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and SQL. As an ADC Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3 to 4 engineers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions, and taking ownership of project deliverables.Responsibilities:- Big Data Engineering: Utilize your extensive hands-on experience in the Big Data engineering space to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.- Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and SQL is essential for this role. - Experience with other Big Data technologies and platforms is a plus.- Python Knowledge: While not mandatory, having knowledge of Python is beneficial. - The candidate should be willing to learn Python on the job if not already proficient.- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 3 to 4 data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership. - Ensure that the team meets project timelines, delivers high-quality solutions, and takes accountability for their work.- Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively. - Track project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.- Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for data engineering, including data validation, testing, and documentation. - Ensure that solutions adhere to industry standards and meet business requirements.- Hybrid/Remote Work: This position offers flexibility in work mode, allowing for a hybrid or remote work arrangement. - There are no location constraints for this role.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 10-13 years of experience in the Big Data engineering space, with a focus on data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.- Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and SQL is a must.- Familiarity with Python is preferred, with a willingness to learn on the job if necessary.- Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading a team of 3 to 4 engineers.- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and track project progress.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Experience in a hybrid or remote work environment is a plus.
