Description:
Position Overview :We are seeking a talented SQL Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SQL database management systems and experience in developing and optimizing SQL queries. As an SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our organization's data needs.Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain SQL databases and tables to store and retrieve data efficiently.- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.- Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability, and troubleshoot any performance issues.- Design and implement database schemas, indexes, and constraints to ensure data integrity and efficiency.- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to integrate database solutions into applications.- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions to automate tasks and enforce business rules.- Perform data migrations, backups, and recovery tasks as needed.- Monitor database performance and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability.- Document database design, schema, and procedures for future reference.- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SQL development and database management.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 2-5 years of experience working as an SQL Developer or Database Developer.- Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.- Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling concepts.- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Good communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.- Familiarity with cloud database services such as Amazon RDS or Azure SQL Database.- Certification in SQL or database administration is a plus.
