The Opportunity:We're seeking a talented and motivated PHP developer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in managing, maintaining, and enhancing our Drupal 8+ application, leveraging your expertise to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security within our cloud/SaaS infrastructure.Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the existing Drupal 8+ application, ensuring its smooth operation and stability.- Develop efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules to extend the functionality of the Drupal application.- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.- Utilize debugging techniques to identify and resolve complex performance issues within the Drupal application.- Analyze and address architectural challenges, optimizing the application for scalability and efficiency.- Integrate the Drupal application with external systems and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange.- Adhere to coding best practices and maintain clean, well-documented code.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Drupal 8+, cloud technologies, and PHP development.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- 1-3 years of experience developing and maintaining PHP applications.- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.- Proven experience working with Drupal 8+ core functionalities, modules, and themes.- Experience with cloud-based development environments and SaaS platforms (a plus).- Familiarity with API integration best practices and technologies (REST APIs, SOAP).Essential Skills:- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality code.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- A passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest technologies.
