Description:
Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Server Database Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL Server architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database solutions. Additionally, experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.Responsibilities : 1. Database Design and Implementation : Design and implement scalable, high-performance SQL Server database solutions tailored to meet the organization's needs and requirements.2. Performance Tuning and Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through query optimization, indexing strategies, and other performance tuning techniques.3. Database Security : Implement and maintain robust database security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking, to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.4. Backup and Recovery : Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.5. Monitoring and Maintenance : Monitor database performance and health, proactively identify issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks such as database reindexing and statistics updates.6. High Availability and Disaster Recovery : Configure and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups, database mirroring, and log shipping.7. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of database designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with organizational standards.8. Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver database solutions that align with business objectives.9. Cloud Integration : Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to design and implement hybrid or fully cloud-based database solutions, including migration of on-premises databases to the cloud.Qualifications : 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.2. 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Architect or similar role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions.3. Proficiency in SQL Server database administration, including database installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.4. Strong understanding of database performance tuning, optimization, and monitoring tools.5. Experience with database security best practices and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.6. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.8.
