The Opportunity :We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining critical backend services that power our applications. You'll also serve as a mentor and guide, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable backend systems using Go.- Participate in architectural discussions and provide leadership in shaping the evolution of our backend infrastructure.- Optimize code for performance, efficiency, and maintainability, ensuring our services can handle high volumes and complex workloads.- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, product managers, QA) throughout the development lifecycle.- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to help them grow their skills.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Go, cloud technologies, and relevant libraries and frameworks.- Contribute to the development and implementation of DevOps practices to ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).Ideal Candidate :- 10 - 12 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Golang for the past 5+ years.- In-depth understanding of Go concurrency primitives (goroutines, channels), garbage collection, and memory management.- Experience with building and deploying microservices architectures using Go.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. , AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) (a plus).- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Go testing, testify) and tools for performance profiling.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- A passion for mentoring and helping others learn and grow.- A strong desire to stay ahead of the curve and embrace new technologies.Benefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects that leverage your expertise.- Collaborative and supportive work environment that values innovation.- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.- Recognition and growth potential within a growing tech team.
