Position Overview : - As an iOS Developer with 5-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications for iOS devices.- Working closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.- Additionally, as a senior member of the engineering team, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Responsibilities : Software Development : - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for iOS platforms using established coding standards and best practices.- Implement user interface components, features, and functionalities based on project requirements. Requirement Analysis :- Analyze user requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals and user needs.Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with other engineers, product managers, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure the successful delivery of projects.- Communicate effectively to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback. Technical Specifications : - Develop technical specifications based on user requirements, outlining the architecture, design, and implementation details of the software solution. Troubleshooting and Performance Monitoring : - Troubleshoot existing code issues as needed, identifying and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks.- Monitor system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Technical Guidance and Mentorship : - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the engineering team, assisting in their professional development and growth.- Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall capabilities of the team. Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and alignment with project requirements.- Provide constructive feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement. Key Skills : - Extensive experience in iOS application development using Swift and/or Objective-C.- Proficiency in iOS SDK, Xcode, Interface Builder, and other development tools.- Strong understanding of iOS design patterns, user interface guidelines, and best practices.- Experience with RESTful APIs, networking, and data persistence on iOS platforms.- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Leadership qualities and a willingness to mentor junior developers. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.- 5-8 years of professional experience in iOS application development.- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions for iOS platforms.- Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with the latest iOS development trends and technologies.
