Overview :- We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team.- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP architecture, system landscapes, and best practices, along with hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.- This role requires expertise in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and software updates.- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.Responsibilities :- SAP Basis Administration : Perform day-to-day SAP Basis administration tasks, including system monitoring, user management, client administration, and job scheduling.- System Landscape Management : Design, configure, and maintain SAP system landscapes to meet business requirements and performance objectives.- Implement best practices for system architecture and high availability.SAP Architecture : - Provide guidance and expertise on SAP architecture design, including system sizing, hardware requirements, and network configuration.- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of SAP systems.SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA : - Configure and manage SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.- Optimize system performance and resource utilization.Performance Tuning : - Monitor and analyze SAP system performance metrics.- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve system performance and efficiency.Troubleshooting :- Investigate and resolve issues related to SAP system functionality, performance, and availability.- Coordinate with SAP support and other stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.Software Updates and Upgrades : - Plan and execute SAP software updates, patches, and upgrades.- Perform system testing and validation to ensure successful deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.SFTP Configuration : - Configure, implement, and manage Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) connections for data exchange between SAP systems and external partners or systems.Collaboration : - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.- Communicate technical concepts and requirements clearly and concisely.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.- Profound knowledge of SAP architecture, system landscapes, and best practices.- Strong understanding of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and other relevant SAP technologies.- Proficiency in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning.- Expertise in SAP troubleshooting.- Familiarity with SAP software updates, patches, and upgrades.- Specialized skills in SFTP configuration, implementation, and management.- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- SAP certification(s) will be considered a valuable asset.
