About the Role :- We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal leadership role.- You will leverage your extensive knowledge and proven track record in cybersecurity to guide our organization in developing and implementing robust security strategies, ensuring the protection of our critical data and infrastructure.Responsibilities :Strategic Leadership :- Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap and strategy that aligns with business objectives and risk tolerance.- Partner with leadership across the organization to ensure cybersecurity is integrated into all aspects of operations.Technical Expertise :- Possess in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g. , NIST), and best practices.- Stay current on evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities, proactively developing mitigation strategies.- Provide guidance and support to the team on complex security assessments, risk management, and incident response activities.Communication & Collaboration :- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.- Collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and drive strategic decision-making.Program & Project Management : - Develop key metrics and reports to track cybersecurity program effectiveness and identify areas for - improvement.- Lead the planning and execution of security projects, ensuring successful implementation within budget and timeframe.- Identify and implement corrective action plans to address security issues and improve overall posture.Qualifications : - 15+ years of experience in information security, privacy, or a related field with a proven track record of success in leading and managing security programs.- One or more recognized Information Security Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GSLC, GSEC, CISA) is highly preferred.- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e. g. NIST) and compliance requirements (e. g. , CMMC, CMMI).- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.- Superior communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
