Description:
About the Role :- We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team and play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling our mobile applications.- You will leverage your expertise in Java and related technologies to develop robust and secure backend services that power our mobile apps and deliver exceptional user experiences.Responsibilities :Backend Development : - Design, develop, and implement complex backend functionalities using Java and object-oriented programming principles.- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between mobile apps and backend services.J2EE & Database Expertise :- Possess strong experience in developing enterprise-grade J2EE applications.- Design and manage relational databases to efficiently store and manage data for mobile applications.Web Services & APIs :- Design and develop secure web services using SOAP/XML and REST/JSON for efficient mobile app communication.- Ensure the scalability and performance of web services to handle high volumes of mobile traffic.Full-Stack Development Skills :- Although a backend developer role, we value candidates with a well-rounded understanding of full-stack development.- Experience with frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and popular frameworks (e.g. , Angular, React) is a plus.Cloud & DevOps :- Experience in cloud computing, specifically development, deployment, and management of Docker containers in a cloud environment.- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, particularly Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.Additional Skills :- Experience developing web services with a focus on security and handling attachments (if applicable).- Knowledge of various authentication protocols for secure user access to mobile applications.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience as a backend developer with a strong focus on Java development.- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.- Proven experience in J2EE application development and relational database design.- Experience with web service development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON) for enterprise applications.Bonus Points :- Experience with full-stack development technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, frontend frameworks).- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (Docker).- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (e g. , Azure DevOps).
