Description:
Overview :- As a Project Manager with Agile experience and expertise in BI reporting using Tableau, you will lead and manage projects related to business intelligence and data analytics.- You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.- This role requires strong project management skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and proficiency in BI reporting tools, particularly Tableau.Responsibilities :Project Planning : Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.- Identify resource requirements and allocate tasks to team members.- Agile Project Management: Implement Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to facilitate iterative and incremental project delivery.- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings.- Monitor project progress and adapt plans as needed to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes.- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements, expectations, and priorities.- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure ongoing alignment between project goals and business objectives.Team Leadership : Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including business analysts, data engineers, BI developers, and quality assurance specialists.- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.- Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.BI Reporting (Tableau) : Utilize Tableau and other BI reporting tools to design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.- Work closely with business users to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate data into actionable insights.Quality Assurance : Establish quality standards and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.- Conduct thorough testing and validation of BI reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.Risk Management :- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues and challenges.- Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.- Escalate issues to senior management as needed.- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk registers.- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and key metrics.- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.- Encourage feedback and lessons learned to identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and innovation.Requirements :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.- 4 to 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies and BI reporting using Tableau.- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with certification(s) such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, with hands-on experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and report design.- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business users, IT professionals, and other stakeholders.- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and SQL query language is a plus.
