About the Role:We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our team and play a key role in extracting valuable insights from our data. You will leverage your skills in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or AWS Quicksight/DataZone), and Python to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business partners to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data analysis tasks.- Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract and clean data from various data sources (relational databases, cloud storage).- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data transformation and loading.- Utilize data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or AWS Quicksight/DataZone) to create compelling dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights.- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.- Develop and implement statistical analysis techniques to uncover deeper insights and support data-driven decision making.- Work with Python for data manipulation, automation tasks, and potentially basic machine learning model building (if applicable).- Participate in the development and implementation of data governance strategies.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analysis tools and technologies.Candidate Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Required Skills:- Proficiency in SQL querying languages for data extraction and manipulation.- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or AWS Quicksight/DataZone) for creating interactive dashboards and reports.- Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and scripting.- Understanding of data analysis methodologies and best practices.Additional Skills (Preferred):- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery)- Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.- Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.- Knowledge of data governance principles.- Experience with additional data analysis tools (e.g., Power Automate, Looker) (ref:hirist.tech)
