Senior Application Developer - .Net/Java (5-7 yrs) Bangalore (Backend Developer)

Description:
The Ideal Candidate :- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Application Developer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality code.- Experience working on large-scale enterprise web applications is highly desirable.- Strong proficiency in a modern web development framework (e.g., Java Spring, ASP.NET MVC).- Solid understanding of web development principles including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Extensive experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices.- Experience with relational databases (SQL) for data manipulation and querying (specifically experience migrating from Oracle to SQL Server is a plus).- Comfort working in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.- Experience with API development and integration is a plus.- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices is a plus (bonus points for experience mentoring junior developers).Responsibilities :- Participate in the development, improvement, and bug fixing of features within the IJOS 2.0 Enterprise Web Application.- Address and resolve technical issues identified through testing feedback.- Write efficient SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval.- Co-develop functionalities alongside junior developers, providing mentorship and knowledge transfer on best practices.- Deploy and roll back website code for the COPS/CBAS website provided by a 3rd party contractor.- Create and manage test website and database environments for the 3rd party contractor.- Update and rewrite legacy code for the IDHW (ESPI/WITS) Interface to function with the new database structure and tables (migration from Oracle to SQL Server).- Develop and maintain APIs and services for data exchange with IDHW.- Update authorization settings and modify data flow (if necessary) for the IDJC to SCO API.- Participate in code reviews and maintain a high standard of code quality.- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in web development.
