Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C++/Qt developer to join our team!In this role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining critical software applications using C++ and the Qt framework. You will leverage your expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and automotive HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development (desired) to contribute to the success of our projects.The Ideal Candidate:- Minimum 6 years of experience in C++ application development and maintenance, with a strong understanding of C++11 features.- Proven experience in using the Qt framework for building user interfaces and complex software applications.- Excellent analytical and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms to design and implement efficient software solutions.- Experience with development tools such as GDB (debugger), Git version control system, Jira project management tool, and the GCC compiler toolchain.- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills with the ability to design and implement well-structured, maintainable code.- Familiarity with design patterns and UML (Unified Modeling Language) design notations.- Experience with unit testing frameworks like Google Mock (GMock) and Google Test (GTest) to ensure code quality.- Experience with Agile development methodologies and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.- Experience developing software on Linux environments is required.- Prior experience in automotive HMI development is highly desirable but not mandatory.- Experience in the automotive and navigation domain is a plus.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new features and bug fixes for C++/Qt applications.- Perform peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards and code quality.- Write unit tests using GMock and GTest to ensure code functionality and reliability.- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues within tight deadlines.- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical issues and identify preventive actions.- Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in C++, Qt, and related technologies.
