Position : Azure Senior Data EngineerLocation : Any location within IndiaJob Type : D&A Competency RoleJob Summary :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Researching, designing, building, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines and data lakes in Azure cloud. The candidate should have a deep understanding of data engineering and big data technologies, Microsoft Fabric, as well as experience working with data scientists and business stakeholders to build scalable data solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data lakes/delta lake in Azure cloud using modern big data technologies.- Work with data scientists and business stakeholders to build scalable data solutions.- Develop and maintain reusable framework for data integration pipelines/processes between internal and external data sources.- Develop and maintain data quality checks and data validation processes using reusable framework.- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.- Create and maintain technical documentation (Data models, Data dictionaries, and Data standards) for data pipelines and data lakes.- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines, data lakes using- Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.- Identify and troubleshoot data pipeline and data lake issues.- Develop, maintain, and deploy auto deployment codebase using CI/CD pipeline.- Stay up to date with the latest big data technologies and best practices.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field- 5-10 years of experience in data engineering or related field- 3+ years of experience working with Azure cloud and big data technologies such as Azure- ADLS, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Function, Purview, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric, Pyspark, Python Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data lakes in Azure cloud.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server,Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts.- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau- Having knowledge of AI/ML/LLM and Microsoft Fabric would be value added.
