Job Description:We are seeking a talented ColdFusion Developer with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ColdFusion Developer will be responsible for designing and developing software applications using ColdFusion, debugging and fixing issues in existing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to deliver quality products within planned timelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Adobe ColdFusion and Lucee, along with proficiency in frontend development languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap.Responsibilities:- Software Application Development: Design and develop software applications using ColdFusion, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance.- Feature Development: Develop new features and functionalities as per project requirements, adhering to best practices and coding standards.- Issue Debugging and Fixing: Debug and fix issues in existing ColdFusion applications, troubleshooting technical problems and implementing effective solutions.- Agile Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional agile teams to deliver quality products with planned timelines, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers and product owners to gather and define project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.- Innovation and Best Practices: Bring new ideas and suggest practices that improve project execution and enhance the efficiency of development processes.Requirements:- Hands-on experience in software development using Adobe ColdFusion and Lucee, with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience.- Experience in database development, preferably on MS SQL Server, with a strong understanding of SQL queries and database design principles.- Proficiency in frontend development languages including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap, with the ability to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.- Experience in OpenShift containers will be preferable, along with an understanding of containerization concepts and deployment practices.- Understanding of design patterns and design principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in software development projects.- Knowledge of web application hosting in ColdFusion Server or Lucee Server, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.- Understanding of Azure DevOps pipeline setup, with experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
