The Role :We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer Senior with at least 4+ years of relevant experience in Go-lang, RDBMS & AWS Cloud Infrastructure. The candidate should have extensive experience in leading HLD/LLD designs and a high level of understanding of Go and be able to implement industry best coding practices in building products fast, keeping testing, scalability, and robustness as base points, mentor peers and juniors, and operate independently with little supervision. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the company's success by leading the development of highly scalable and efficient software solutions.Responsibilities :- Anything and everything under the technical umbrella goes via you.- You have the freedom to explore the right solutions and the responsibility to make sure it's maintainable.- You build for the long term yet hit the goal for the short term.- You follow extreme programming and ship to production multiple times a week.- Lead HLD/LLD for different threads ( both as an IC or guiding junior team members)- Champion industry best practices into your work and mentor your peers and juniors.- You have a strong product mind and you focus on the impact your work has on the business.- You can operate independently with very little supervision.Skills :- At least 4+ years of relevant experience.- Expert level in Go-lang and RDBMS (MySQL).- Highly experienced in HLD/LLD with hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.- Understanding and usage of the unit testing framework.- Most, if not all of the things you have ideally worked on: Celery, Rabbitmq, Kafka, ORM, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Git, GitHub actions, Flutter, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudfront, Load Balancers, Route53, etc).- Effective communication, Teamwork, Team Handling, Adaptability, Flexibility, Leadership, Problem-solving, Work Ethics, and Creativity.- Jump into situations with few guardrails and make things better yet write comprehensible, testable code with an eye towards maintenance.- Should be able to architect robust Restful APIs.- Strong CS fundamentals: Data structures, Algorithms, Distributed systems, and Information Retrieval.- You ship fast. Speed is in your blood. Except when you are driving in Bangalore.Good to have :- Devops experience in Kubernetes, and Docker.- Any open-source contribution would give you an edge.- Knowledge of agile and a lean way of doing things is a huge benefit.
