Description:
In this senior role, you will :- Lead the performance testing process for complex applications, from requirements gathering and test planning to execution and reporting. - Design and develop performance test strategies aligned with business objectives and non-functional requirements. - Select and utilize industry-standard performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) to create realistic load scenarios. - Configure and manage performance testing environments, ensuring optimal test conditions and scalability. - Execute performance tests across various load levels to identify bottlenecks, analyze performance metrics, and recommend optimization strategies.- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to communicate test results, identify performance issues, and implement improvements.- Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing trends and technologies to continuously improve testing practices and effectiveness. - Advise on performance best practices and provide guidance to team members on performance testing methodologies.- Document performance test plans, scripts, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing. We're looking for a candidate with : - 12-14 years of experience in performance testing, with a strong understanding of performance engineering principles.- In-depth knowledge of industry-standard performance testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, performance testing frameworks). - Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing performance tests for various types of applications (web, API, mobile). - Solid understanding of performance metrics (e.g., response times, throughput, concurrency) and their interpretation.- Experience with performance test scripting languages (e.g., Java, Groovy, Python) (a plus). - Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for performance testing (a plus).- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test data and identify performance bottlenecks. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - A passion for performance testing and a commitment to continuous learning.
