You can reach out to us at careers@fabmoney.inWhere do you come into the picture?Fab Money team is looking for a bold, curious AVP - Engineering with high standards to contribute to, architect and help manage Fab Money's app development. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality codebases, technical specifications, deployment scripts, API product creation and more. You will be directly reporting to the Founder & CEO of the organization.What would a day in your Life@FabMoney look like?As AVP Engineering, you will oversee engineering team development (Backend, Frontend, Mobile) by setting up requirements, goals and delivery timeline.- Drive the design and architecture of complex, scalable systems that underpin our solutions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.- Hands-on involvement in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.- Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization.- Act as a technical authority, providing insights into emerging technologies and industry trends.About You :Here's what we're looking for :- 8+ years of technical experience and passionate about scaling the Fintech system.- Hands-on and deep experience building applications and expert level proficiency in modern programming languages like JAVA along with Spring & Microservices.- Extensive experience in engineering with a focus on scalable and distributed systems.- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a strong preference for expertise in functional programming.- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects from conception to production.- Deep understanding of software architecture, design principles, and best practices.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.- Familiarity with Flutter is a plus- Familiarity with FinTech, payment systems, or related industries is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
