About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ASP.NET Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust web applications and APIs utilizing the ASP.NET framework and various Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement web applications and web services using ASP.NET technologies (ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET Core) and C#/VB.NET programming languages.- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange and integration with internal and external systems.- Utilize Visual Studio 2019 (or later) for efficient development, debugging, and testing.- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end functionalities with UIs built using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like TypeScript, Knockout, and Angular).- Leverage LINQ and Entity Framework for efficient data access and manipulation within web applications.- Utilize Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for version control, collaboration, and deployment management.- Work with SQL Server 2016+ databases, including schema design, querying, and data management.- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for automated data transfer and processing tasks.- Create reports and visualizations using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to support data analysis and decision-making.- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services for scalable and reliable application deployment (a plus).- Design and implement CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment process.- Participate in database modeling and design activities to ensure data integrity and efficient data access.- Utilize Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence needs (a plus).- Participate in code reviews, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements to maintain code quality.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ASP.NET, .NET, and related Microsoft technologies.Requirements:- 7-9 years of experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET technologies (ASP.NET Web Forms and/or ASP.NET Core).- Strong proficiency in C# or VB.NET programming languages.- Experience with RESTful API development principles and best practices.- Familiarity with Visual Studio for development, debugging, and testing.- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and potential experience with frameworks like TypeScript, Knockout, or Angular (a plus).- Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL queries, and using LINQ and Entity Framework for data access.- Experience with version control systems like Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps.- Experience working with SQL Server 2016+ databases, including schema design and querying.- Experience with SSIS for data integration and SSRS for reporting (a plus).- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services (a plus).- Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (a plus).- Experience with database modeling and design methodologies.- Experience with Power BI for data visualization (a plus).- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.- A passion for learning and staying current with new technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
