Job Description :About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Automation Testing Engineer to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will play a key part in driving our test automation strategy and ensuring the quality of our software applications. You will not only be a technical expert in automation frameworks and tools but also a strong leader who can mentor and guide junior test engineers.Responsibilities :- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive test automation strategy- Select and implement appropriate automation frameworks and tools for various testing needs- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts- Integrate automation with the overall CI/CD pipeline- Collaborate with developers and other testers to ensure effective test coverage- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report defects effectively- Mentor and guide junior test engineers on automation best practices- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation tools and methodologies- Advocate for test automation within the organization and promote its benefitsQualifications :- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation- Proven experience in leading and managing test automation initiatives- In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) used for automation- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automation testing- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively- A passion for quality assurance and a desire to improve testing practices (ref:hirist.tech)
