Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled Technical QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with proficiency in leading automation efforts using tools such as Selenium. The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts, as well as analyzing test results and providing recommendations for improvement. The candidate should possess deep technical expertise in automation testing tools and technologies, along with a solid understanding of database testing, web performance, and API security testing methodologies.Primary Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other automation testing frameworks.- Conduct database testing using SQL Server, OracleDB, MySQL, Postgres, and other database management systems.- Utilize automation tools such as Automator, Postman, Swagger, JMeter, and PerfMon for functional and performance testing.- Implement infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform for setting up test environments.- Manage source code repositories using Tortoise SVN and track issues using project management tools like Redmine.- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.- Perform web performance testing, API security testing, and test automation for RESTful API services.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.- Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, integrating testing processes into the software development lifecycle.- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Secondary Responsibilities :- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker for test environment management.- Proficiency in requirement analysis and usability testing, ensuring that testing efforts align with business objectives and user needs.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.- Proven experience in leading automation testing efforts, with a strong background in automation testing frameworks such as Selenium.- Deep technical expertise in automation testing tools and technologies, including Ansible, Automator, Terraform, Swagger, Postman, JMeter, and PerfMon.- Experience working with databases such as Postgres and SQL Server for database testing.- Strong understanding of web, performance, and API security testing methodologies and best practices.- Proficiency in software testing processes, requirement analysis, and test design techniques.- Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in CI/CD tools and practices.- Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Redmine, and Tortoise SVN.- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
