Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect with extensive experience in Linux-based software development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux architecture, kernel programming, and system-level software design. This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to architect complex software systems, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects in Linux environments.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and design complex software systems and solutions based on Linux platforms, considering performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define system architecture, and create technical specifications.- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks for suitability in Linux-based development projects.- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure high-quality software delivery.- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development methodologies for Linux-based projects.- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and DevOps specialists, to integrate software components and systems.- Conduct performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of Linux-based software applications and systems.- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software architecture, development processes, and tooling.- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development in Linux software engineering.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Advanced degree preferred.- 10-12 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Linux-based systems.- Proven expertise in Linux architecture, kernel programming, and system-level software design.- Strong understanding of Linux internals, including process management, memory management, file systems, and networking.- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for Linux environments, including experience with multithreading, IPC, and system calls.- Experience with Linux development tools and libraries, such as GNU toolchain, glibc, and POSIX APIs.- Familiarity with Linux system administration, including shell scripting, package management, and system configuration.- Knowledge of software design patterns, software architecture principles, and design methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.- Experience with agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
