Key Responsibilities : - Utilize experience in Salesforce testing to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.- Implement and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, and other open-source testing tools.- Understand the fundamentals of automation frameworks and integrate them into quality infrastructure and deployment pipelines.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system design, architecture, and requirements for effective test coverage.- Debug logs, troubleshoot databases, and collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to ensure seamless operation of test environments.- Identify test coverage gaps in automated suites and propose improvements to enhance overall test coverage.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SDETs, fostering their technical development and growth.- Setup, configure, and maintain software test environments to support automated testing efforts.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.- Test and automate APIs using tools such as Rest Assured, Swagger, Postman, and Appium.- Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.Required Skills and Qualifications : - Experience in Salesforce testing is preferred, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and functionalities.- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, and other open-source testing frameworks.- Knowledge of testing methodologies, including unit testing, functional testing, component testing, and integration testing.- Familiarity with SDLC/STLC or Agile processes, with experience in Agile testing methodologies.- Strong aptitude for functional testing, ensuring a high-quality user experience for Salesforce products.- Ability to review system design and architecture to devise effective automation strategies.- Experience testing and automating APIs using tools like Rest Assured, Swagger, Postman, and Appium.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Proven ability to track and manage defects effectively, ensuring timely resolution and closure.- Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in automated testing practices.
