Description:
Job Description :- Candidate should be well-versed in Jenkins pipelines and OpenShift, with robust on-prem and some AWS experience, transitioning towards full cloud implementations.- Enhance CI/CD processes including infrastructure as code and blue-green deployments.- The role entails managing DevOps operations across various projects, and developing scripts for server setups and maintenance, specifically for Java and Tomcat.- Works closely with the lead to independently manage tasks with minimal oversight, supporting centralized DevOps activities for multiple teams.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and integrate various tools to support development processes.- Manage and operate on-premise to cloud migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.- Spin up AWS instances as needed, and maintain integrations for container management using Docker and Kubernetes.- Lead efforts in scripting for server patching, infrastructure as code updates, and routine maintenance of Java and Tomcat environments.- Collaborate across projects and with multiple teams to support broad organizational goals and initiatives.- Proficiency in Jenkins for pipeline management and OpenShift for application scaling.- Strong scripting skills in Groovy (bonus) and experience in managing Java applications.- Experience in leading cloud migration projects, with a clear strategy for both cloud-native and containerized applications.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across various teams.
