We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Platform Engineer to join our Bangalore based Research team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing & maintaining scalable and reliable distributed systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform.Experience : 3+ Yrs Location : Bangalore (Open for Work from office)Education : B Tech/BE/M Tech/MERole : Backend Platform Engineer Responsibilities : 1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems to support our software applications.2. Implement RESTful APIs and services to facilitate communication between different parts of the application.3. Optimize performance and efficiency of backend code and databases.4. Collaborate with frontend developers, software architects, and other team members to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.5. Monitor system health, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems.6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development, cloud computing, and DevOps methodologies.7. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards and conventions.8. Document designs, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.Requirements : 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.2. 3 to 7 years of experience in backend development.3. Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.4. Experience with web frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or Express.js.5. Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as database design principles.6. Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.7. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS is must.8. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.10. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
