Description:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferredCertification : CCNA (mandatory), AWS SA/Pro (desired), NSE I, CCSA, PCNSA (anyone would be an added advantage)Responsibilities :- Understanding of Network Infrastructure.- Implementing and troubleshooting new network solutions and improving efficiency of current networks.- Configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and load balancers.- Ensuring a good understanding of DNS, DHCP, wireless, and Network Security.- Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and load balancers.- Communicating network and security incidents to management.- Working with IPsec VPN, client VPN, NAT.- Utilizing security systems like IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS protection, AV software, and content filtering.- Having knowledge or hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure utilizing VPC, EC2, WAF, Shield, ELB, VPN, transit gateway, etc.- Understanding AWS services like Ec2, VPC, Direct Connect, IAM, Route53.- Staying updated on the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols.- Performing scheduled network upgrades and firmware updates.- Monitoring networks and reporting status to stakeholders.- Utilizing tools like Jira, Splunk, and Sumo Logic.- Following ITIL practices for incident, change, and service request management.- Ability to work under pressure in stressful scenarios.Product Knowledge Required :- Firewalls : FortiGate, PaloAlto, Checkpoint- Wireless : Cisco, Ruckus, Aruba- Cisco/HP : Router & switchesDesired Skills and Experience :- AWS Certification is desired.- Experience in Firewalls.- Knowledge of Cisco, Ruckus, Aruba.- Experience handling Cisco routers & switches.- Experience in ITIL concepts.- Strong communication and documentation skills.- Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.- Self-driven and able to work independently.
