Description:
Responsibilities :- Managing Snowflake Datawarehouse infrastructure which includes provisioning and scaling resources, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.- Managed user access and was responsible for installing DBT, applying updates, and managing dependencies.- Optimize DBT Performance by monitoring job execution, identifying bottlenecks, and making necessary configurations.- Setting up monitoring tools to track job status, resource usage, and system health.- Deploying DBT models to different environments and ensuring they run reliably.- Monitor job execution for errors and implement error handling and retry mechanisms.- Set up notifications and alerts to inform relevant parties of job statuses and issues.- Scheduling DBT jobs ensures that models are executed at the right times and frequencies.- Optimize job scheduling to balance resource usage and minimize execution times.- Managing GIT version control to track changes in DBT projects.Requirements :- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.- AWS experience with Athena and S3 for data pipeline connectivity.- 6-8 years of database administrator experience with 2-3 years of snowflake administrator exp.- At least 1 year of DBT administrator exp.- Snowflake and DBT administrator experience is a Plus.
